This student's family suffered a robbery last year and are still struggling to get back onto their feet. Kritsada's sponsor decided that the boy needed a special teat and asked us to arrange a trip to the shops for him.
Kritsada's shopping trip went very well and
he was thrilled to be able to choose some sharp new clothes - every teenager's
dream, right?
During the visit we learned that they had
no water, that the water tank was badly in need of repair (as you will see from
the photographs) and for which they had no money. So this morning we
bought the materials and gave them enough money for water to be delivered, as
the tank needed one day to dry.
Clearly this young man leads a very
sheltered life, virtually going nowhere but to school and home again.
Suky said that when they dropped him back opposite the top of the soi
after shopping, he had no idea how to get home by motorcycle taxi. They gave
him the fare and Boonying showed him how to go over the overpass and find the
taxi.
Such a difference to the Muslim boy from the
Canhomchuen family.

It will not matter how big your bank account
was, the sort of house you lived in, or the kind of car you drove. But the
world may be a little better because your help touched the life of one child.
