A visit by Hong Kong based sponsors

A visit on Children’s Day by Tom and Ubie from Hong Kong  to again meet ‘Art’ and ‘Ploy’ the children they sponsor gave the children a wonderful time at KFC and then in the small amusement area at Big C.

Thanks to  Ubie, for recognizing the need to personally give help and encouragement to Art.  We have never seen him so animated as we did in the table 'hurling' contest between he and his sister (who had had plenty of practise whilst waiting for Art to leave the 'bubble area'). Having said that, the ball throwing competition against the 'bad guys' proved a real hit, also. They got so excited they were throwing (albeit not very accurately) with both hands, in an effort to 'get the bad guys totally annihilated’. It was such fun to watch them.

After a KFC  lunch) and a serious discussion regarding what was coming next,  we took the children home, each of them clutching their 'goody bags' from their sponsors, given on the journey home and thoroughly enjoyed as they saw and unwrapped each gift.

A good time was had by all and when it was time to take the children home, show off their gifts and settle down to their daily routine, they thanked their benefactors beautifully.
