Back in mid -2013 we became aware of
‘Kate’s Project Trust’ (KTP) a project working with kids from some of the
poorest slums in Pattaya.
The project has eight children who needed
support for their schooling and we were able to find individual sponsors for
these kids through our own website. We also made a monthly contribution to ‘KTP’
to help with the cost of food and water they take to the kids in the slums each
month.
When we made our visit to Pattaya in
December 2013 / January 2014 Khun Noi who runs the project in Pattaya offered
to take us to meet the kids at their homes. It quickly became very obvious that
not only were these kids living in dire circumstances but also needed extra
help. We asked the families what we could do to help and all they asked for was
more food. We offered to give extra monthly support for food for the kids we
met and also offered to buy them all 1500Baht of new clothes which we left with
Khun Noi to organise.
The photos in this album of the children at
their homes were taken in December and the remaining photos of the children
have been received from Khun Noi and are of the kids having been taken shopping
for school supplies and clothing over the past few days. Khun Noi is pictured
in some of the photos.
We look forward to being in a position to
help ‘Kates’s Project Trust’ further during 2014
100 Years From Today
It will not matter how big your bank account
was, the sort of house you lived in, or the kind of car you drove. But the
world may be a little better because your help touched the life of one child.
