The hazards of getting into the slums

Although we often mention the difficulties involved in reaching the homes of many of our students who live in the slums it is difficult to visualise the obstacles that often need to be negotiated to reach these dwellings, many of which are illegally built on small plots of land tucked away behind building sites.
