This delightful child is the eldest of three boys, all living at home with their parents. Father is a construction worker earning 8,000 B per month. Mother takes care of the two younger boys (aged 2 yrs and 7 months) herself, as the youngest child was born with a cleft palate and has to be fed through a tube.
It is a pitiful case, as although the treatment necessary for him will be given free when he is strong enough, he is grossly underweight. With the expenses for the month totalling 7,310 B (before food costs), the family is in a desperate situation. This little one needs help with school fees and money for snacks during the day.
