As we support the work of the Hauy Phong Children's Home where there are more than 300 children being cared for we keep in regular contact with the staff at the home.
Last week chemical explosions at an industrial plant a few miles from the home meant evacuating all of the children and staff some 40 miles away to Banglamung. This brief email from the head social worker at the home advises that they are all safe and well.
"How are You? I hope you are very well .last week had an accident at Chemical industrial mabtaput near our home. IT 's explosion. We immigrate to banglamung chonburi. but now everything is clear and return.
I am very glad too. Now everyone are safe. But those day some children/staff are fainted.
